A Fort Walton Beach man found unconscious at the wheel of his car while it was still in drive was arrested by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
30-year old Camrin Mack is charged with possession of heroin with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and possession of marijuana.
Deputies found Mack November 26th around 11:30 p.m. passed out behind the wheel at the intersection of Beal Parkway and Hospital Drive. The vehicle was running and in “Drive”, but Mack’s foot was on the brake. After multiple attempts they were able to wake him up and get him to put the vehicle in park.
During the investigation deputies found a plastic bag filled with a substance in Mack’s pants pocket.
The bag contained five smaller baggies of heroin, one of marijuana, and one of crystal methamphetamine.
The OCSO is awaiting the results of a blood draw done at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and along with the drug-related charges, Mack could face an additional charge of DUI.
