Sheriff Eric Aden

Welcome to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office website where our goal is to provide you a site that is both-informative, interactive and helpful. We invite you to visit this website frequently because part of my mission as the Sheriff is to maintain our website and its ability to function as a one-stop shop of sorts for information about your Sheriff’s Office and the community we serve. Our website and affiliated social media outlets offer daily crime and arrest reports, profiles on some of Okaloosa County’s wanted fugitives, sexual offender and predator identification, on-line neighborhood crime mapping tools, crime prevention tips, traffic advisories, news updates, a link to our Facebook page, and much more.

Currently, our agency serves and protects nearly 200,000 year-round residents as well as many more tens of thousands of visitors each week. The OCSO has approximately 325 sworn officers and 110 civilian support staff to bring you services ranging from road patrol, traffic enforcement, investigations, and environmental enforcement, to school resource officers, marine and beach patrols, K-9, civil process, warrants, communications and judicial services. As Sheriff, I am not only honored to serve alongside these men and women to combat crime, I feel privileged to have such a wonderful community to call home.

It is our mission at the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office to do all we can to provide the highest level of public safety obtainable for our citizens and visitors. In fact, our mission statement pledges: “Ensuring fair and equal administration of the law, safeguarding civil liberties and preserving public safety; Doing so with professionalism and unity of purpose, while being good stewards of the public’s trust.”
