The Okaloosa County Public Information Office responds to everything from simple requests for basic information to sharing in-depth facts, figures, and statistics. The Sheriff’s Office is committed to sharing information through media interactions, its website, social media outlets like Facebook, a monthly cable TV show, a weekly radio show, newsletters, and special projects. The PIO is also active in representing the Sheriff’s Office at numerous meetings, functions, and events.
The reason for this commitment is fundamental: citizens should have easy access to information about the mission and activities of their Sheriff’s Office. To that end, we are always receptive to questions, comments, and suggestions. Contact Michele Nicholson for additional information.
