ORDONEZ-GARCIA ARREST REPORT
A 22-year old man is charged in connection with the stabbing death of his son’s mother last night in Destin.
Kevin Ordonez-Garcia was located shortly after the stabbing by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office as he walked along Harbor Boulevard. His clothes were covered with blood.
Deputies had been called to an apartment at 323 Mountain Drive around 7:40 p.m. Sunday, where they found 17-year old Gabrila Espinal Lainez face down near the front door with stab wounds to the chest.
She was pronounced dead at the Destin Emergency Room.
The victim and defendant’s 16 month old soon was found unharmed.
Garcia is charged with homicide.
