COOPER ARREST REPORT
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s deputies responding to complaints about lots of activity at a Destin hotel room found drugs in a bucket and a sock full of cash in the room.
56-year old Robert Cooper of Miami is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and trafficking.
Deputies were called to the Village Inn at 215 Harbor Boulevard Saturday after guests were complaining about a lot of foot traffic in and out of the room.
Cooper consented to a search which turned up bags of narcotics stashed in a bucket by a sink and a sock with $7685 under a tv stand.
Cooper told deputies he won the cash gambling at a casino, but couldn’t recall the exact location or its name.
