The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for a 13-year old Laurel Hill boy who was reported missing around 6:41 this evening. The child, who has mental challenges, is believed to have walked away from his home on Fisherman’s Lane sometime after 6 p.m. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a black shirt, jeans, and red and green shoes.
The OCSO is using a K9 unit to try and track the boy and has multiple units on scene to assist in the search. They have also requested additional tracking dogs from the Okaloosa Correctional Institution.
Anyone who spots him is asked to call 9-1-1 and/or contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 850-689-5705. Additional details will be released as they become available.
