The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has opened an active investigation into a shooting incident that took place early Wednesday morning in the Mary Esther area. Deputies were called to 500 Channel Marker Street #6 shortly before one a.m. in reference to a shooting victim call. They found 31-year old Tyree Frost in the living room with a gunshot wound to the neck. Frost, who was conscious and alert, was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola by medical helicopter for evaluation and treatment. The investigation continues.
