A Mary Esther man was arrested on possession of child pornography charges following the execution of a search warrant at his home on Bryn Mawr Boulevard.
22-year old Phillip Dahn faces 20 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of use of a two way communication device to commit a felony.
The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Expllited Children got a tip last December of a user uploading videos of child sexual abuse material.
Members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Dahn’s home around 6:30 a.m. June 22nd, and located approximately twenty files on his tablet. Dahn told them he knew it was wrong and tried multiple times to stop, but continued to create and delete various accounts.
Another male resident of the home meantime was charged with resisting arrest without violence.
