MILLER ARREST REPORT
A Crestview man is charged with punching and chocking his estranged wife, breaking her jaw in the process.
When Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at 5269 Four Lake Road around 7 p.m. last night they saw 33-year old Jonathan Miller Senior on top of the victim on the ground.
Deputies say the incident started when the pair got into an argument that turned violent.
A child at the scene tried to intervene and was shoved into a couch by Miller.
The fight then progressed out into the yard where Miller’s estranged wife was trying to get away to call 9-1-1.
However she says Miller tackled her, pinned her to the ground and began pummeling her in the face and head, causing bleeding from her mouth and left ear. She says the punching broke her jaw and that Miller also put his arm around her neck, continuing to choke her.
She was taken to North Okaloosa Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.
Miller is charged with domestic violence battery by strangulation, child abuse without great bodily harm, and obstructing justice.
