The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place Monday night at a convenience store on Newcastle Drive near Fort Walton Beach.
The clerk reported a man came in around 11:15 p.m. and selected some items before approaching the counter and pulling out a semiautomatic handgun. The suspect had the clerk put money in a bag and then left on foot.
He was wearing a black Sponge Bob Members Only hoodie, camo pants, and black crocs with white socks.
