Deputies who went to a Crestview area home to serve a misdemeanor violation of probation warrant Monday found an active meth cook taking place. 27-year old Jonathan David Miller of 2420 Lake Silver Road is charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies on scene to arrest Miller on a VOP battery charge saw drug-related items in plain view, including a large metal spoon with a white substance, hypodermic needle caps, and lithium strips.
The Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force responded and located approximately 80 grams of suspected methamphetamine oil inside a bottle on the kitchen counter and other meth lab items.
Miller told deputies he both used and manufactured meth.
