A Destin man wanted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a Juvenile and Battery is currently being held in Anchorage Alaska as a Fugitive from Justice. Investigators with the OCSO say 39-year old Eli Long Malave of 706 Swan Lane is accused of sexually molesting a 14-year old girl on numerous occasions at his home between the fall of 2013 and July 2014.
Deputies say Malave, who was aware of the investigation, recently left the area and traveled to Anchorage, where he was arrested Monday on the OCSO outstanding warrants.
Malave is awaiting extradition back to Okaloosa County. Additional details on the charges will be released once the OCSO warrants are served.
