The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight shooting near Fort Walton Beach that investigators say appears to be drug-related.
Three individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies were called to Landview Drive around 2:26 a.m. this morning in response to a shots fired call. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots outside the apartments and hearing a female screaming.
A 16-year old girl was found at the scene with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. She was taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center for treatment. Two other teenage shooting victims later turned up there for treatment.
