UPDATE: The victim of this morning’s stabbing on Hardie Lane in the Fort Walton Beach area is 26-year old Steven Weidenhaft, current address unknown.
A 26-year old stabbing victim says he was walking down a street around Hardie Lane in Fort Walton Beach when he was jumped and attacked by two men.
The victim was taken by helicopter to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies who responded to the scene around 5:30 this morning says the man said he’d been at a friend’s residence off Racetrack Road and was walking down the street to wait for a ride from a family member.
He says two men drove up, jumped him, and stabbed him in the back as he fought back. He says they then got back in their silver car and fled.
The victim described the attackers as two black males, one with no shirt and gold teeth and the other wearing a black tank top.
