In conjunction with the City of Destin, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a Safety DUI Checkpoint on June 20, 2015 at 726 Legion Dr. in Destin from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Deputies will be checking drivers for signs of intoxication and impairment as well as other law violations and vehicle safety issues.
According to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, in 2014, 676 people died in drunken-driving-related accidents in Florida.
