Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a Holt man Tuesday night after discovering him making meth in a barn in Holt. When deputies arrived at the barn at 4853 Bone Creek Road shortly before 6 p.m. yesterday, they saw 25-yer old JohnWesley Myers pouring the white milky contents of a gallon sized Ziploc bag through a coffee filter into a glass jar. Myers told deputies he was down on his luck and was making meth for someone else who was supposed to sell it for him. Myers was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and trafficking in methamphetamine. A second individual at the scene, 30 year old Stephen Matthews, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
