Roy Anthony Pacheco
A former Destin resident is charged with sexual battery in connection with multiple molestations of a child when she was eight and nine years old.
The sexual battery warrant was served on 35-year old Roy Anthony Pacheco of Ashville Alabama on March 18th at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed the girl was the victim of sexual battery more than 15 times and sexual molestation more than six times at two separate locations in Destin between July 2009 and January 2011. She identified a tattoo of “Superman” on Pacheco’s left side which would not be visible unless his clothes were off. The victim also says Pacheco had previous knowledge that she had been a victim of sexual assault in the past by another adult male and he mentioned abused children “never being able to accept being loved”. She reported he also told her not to tell her mother because “this is just between you and me”.
