***UPDATE*** – The victim has been identified as 51-year old Robert Joseph Meyer of Santa Rosa Beach in Walton County.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Destin early this morning.
The 51-year old man was driving his 2012 Harley Davidson east on Emerald Coast Parkway around 3:20 a.m. when he left the roadway and crashed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
