The OCSO is investigating an armed robbery that took place this morning at Plato’s Closet on Emerald Coast Parkway in Destin. Employees say a white male wearing what looked like golf attire came in around 10:10 a.m. with a handgun and demanded money. He took some cash and fled westbound on foot. The store is located at 34904 Emerald Coast Parkway. The robber is described as a white male between 40 and 50 years old, approximately 5’7″ and 150 pounds, with a scruffy beard. He was wearing a tan windbreaker and tan shorts.
