The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has now charged three Fort Walton Beach teenagers in connection with the robbery and beating of two other juveniles. The incident took place around noon yesterday at Oak Tree Park in Mary Esther.
The 13 and 15-year old victims, who are brothers, say they met the three other boys at the Santa Rosa Mall and went with them to the nearby wooded park.
Once there, they say they were attacked and robbed of cash, cell phones, and other items. They also told deputies they were threatened with a knife. The 13-year old was treated for multiple facial injuries at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center and released. 16-year old Francis Ball of Jonleen Drive, 17-year old Ashton Hills of 2013 Miracle Strip Parkway, and 16-year old Nicholas Gonzalez of Windham Drive were arrested on charges armed robbery, battery, and theft.
