Joshua Greene
An Alabama driver pulled over last night by an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputy turned out to be a felony habitual traffic offender with a gun and drugs in his truck. The traffic stop was made on Old River Road near Baker around 8:20 p.m. after the deputy spotted the driver spinning around in the grass to head the opposite direction.
The deputy discovered 30-year old Joshua Greene of Wing Alabama was driving on a suspended license, had a tag attached to his truck that belonged to another vehicle, had methamphetamine in the car, and also had a loaded handgun tucked between the center console and driver’s seat.
Greene is now charged with possession of firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license (3rd or more offense), and attaching a tag not assigned.
The defendant’s most recent license suspension was for non-payment of child support.
