There Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has received a dozen new reports of windows being shot out of vehicles, as it continues to investigate a rash of felony criminal mischief and aggravated battery incidents involving someone with a BB gun.

Initial reports that came in between 9:30 and 11 p.m. Friday night involved damage to a car and to a window at a gas station. A bicyclist and a pedestrian were also targeted. (See previous release)

Since that time the OCSO has received another dozen reports of busted car windows in the Kenwood neighborhood off Mooney Road and surrounding areas.

The total damage estimate from the most recent cases is approximately $10,000, and includes windows being shot out of two new BMWs at ZT Motors, 1000 North Beal Parkway.
