The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office continued its search today for 10-year-old Trinity Eslinger, who was last seen in the water in Destin East Pass on Thursday.
This remains a heartbreaking time for Trinity’s loved ones and our community. Our deputies, alongside an incredible team of first responder partners, are working around the clock — on the water, in the air, and along the shore.
Today’s efforts included marine units from multiple agencies, beach patrol teams, unmanned aerial systems, and a specialized dive unit, all working in close coordination. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has sent a fixed wing airplane to aid in the search today and tomorrow. Volunteer group, Daphne Search and Rescue also assisted in today’s search. Despite the emotional weight of this mission, the dedication of everyone involved has been unwavering.
Search operations will continue tomorrow, focusing heavily on the surrounding waterways and coastline.
