A search warrant executed by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office early Thursday morning at an apartment on Alder Avenue led to the seizure of multiple weapons, bags of counterfeit pills with suspected fentanyl, and cash.

17-year old Montrez Ray Glover of 27 Alder Avenue in Fort Walton Beach is charged with two counts possession of a machine gun, trafficking in fentanyl, violation of juvenile probation, and possession of paraphernalia.

Investigators say among the weapons located inside the apartment were two Glocks with switches attached that allow them to be fired as fully automatic. Some guns were found hidden in an air conditioning return. Three of the weapons discovered had been reported stolen – one in Okaloosa County and two in Walton County.

OCSO investigators also found approximately 405 grams of counterfeit prescription pills in clear plastic packaging.

Glover is on active juvenile probation and is not to have access to weapons or ammunition.

He was taken to the Okaloosa Regional Juvenile Detention Center near Crestview.

The investigation is ongoing.
