The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to transparency and accountability, as we work to determine the facts and to take appropriate action.

To that end, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has proceeded with its administrative internal affairs investigation with the consent of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, which is responsible for the required criminal investigation into this incident.
