A Shalimar resident who serves as Friar of a Shalimar church has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
64-year old Frank Gough II was taken into custody January 9th on 30 counts of possession of child pornography following the execution of a search warrant at his home on 8th Street.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip in May 2024 regarding uploaded sexual images believed to contain children.
An OCSO Investigation of the information ultimately led to Gough’s home. During the search, computer storage devices were located and seized.
On those devices investigators found extensive files of child pornography including video of a young female who appears to be between three and five years old.
Units from Internet Crimes Against Children, OCSO Drug Task Force, and Homeland Security Investigation took part in the search warrant.
