The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is processing a site on the Air Force reservation in west Okaloosa County after a hiker found scattered skeletal remains Tuesday evening.
The man was walking in an area north of Highway 98 close to the Okaloosa/Santa Rosa County line when he spotted the human remains around 5:30 p.m.
Additional information is limited at this time but will be released as the investigation develops.
