DAVIS ARREST REPORT

A Crestview man who beat his wife with his fists and a wooden table leg, then fired a shotgun at two other family members, has been charged with attempted murder and two counts of aggravated battery.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to 6253 Barnes Road around 2:45 p.m. Monday after getting reports of a domestic violence incident at the home of 72-year old Thomas Davis Senior.

His wife, 67-year old Carol Davis says he attacked her because she did not have his medications.

Their couple’s son, Thomas Davis Jr. and his wife Sharon Moore, came to the home after Carol texted them asking for help.

Once there, the father and son got into a verbal argument. Davis Sr. pointed the shotgun in Moore’s direction and fired, causing a pellet to hit the dirt and ricochet into her neck. She was treated at North Okaloosa Medical Center.

Thomas Junior says his father also threatened to kill him and fired two rounds in his direction, but missed.

Carol Davis was treated at NOMC for injuries ranging from multiple head contusions to a black eye.
