MISSING PERSON UPDATE
Investigators with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's
Office have gathered information at this time that leads them to believe that
43-year old Laurie Lee Kimbell of Destin left the country last Saturday, January
17th, under her own volition.
They
are attempting to definitively confirm the information.
The
Sheriff's Office wants to thank the public for its response to a request for
information on Kimbell's whereabouts. Kimbell's family had contacted the agency
after being unable to contact her last weekend. They arrived in Destin Monday
and found Kimbell's apartment unlocked, with her purse inside. Her car was
parked in the front of the building.
Investigators received more than forty tips after issuing a news release
Wednesday asking for the public's help.
