HAYNES TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
A
Crestview man wanted on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon,
domestic-violence - is now in custody. A deputy spotted 41-year old Harold
Cornelius Haynes driving a car near the intersection of Farmer Street and
Stillwell Boulevard in Crestview around eleven a.m. this morning (Tuesday).
Deputies pulled
Haynes over in the Richburg Lane area and have now taken him to the Okaloosa
County Jail.
Haynes is
charged with pouring rubbing alcohol on his girlfriend at their home on 1158
Farmer Street on June 15th and then setting her on fire with a
cigarette lighter. 45-year old Madeline Miller is currently still hospitalized
as a result of the attack. No other details are available at this time.
