WOMAN REPORTS KIDNAPPING AND SEXUAL BATTERY
The Okaloosa
County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported kidnapping and sexual
battery that took place around midnight Saturday (May 10th). A woman
says she was kidnapped from a location inside the city of Crestview, taken to a
secluded area near the Walton County line off Highway 90, and then sexually
assaulted. She turned up at a home off Goldfinch Way to report the crime. EMS
transported the woman to North Okaloosa Medical Center.
The initial
report of the suspect was a tall white male, approximately 55 years of age,
driving a light-colored pickup truck.
