Arrest Made in Mary Esther Robbery

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of a man outside of a Mary Esther Bank on Monday, December 17th.  30 year old (10/24/77) Joshua Thomas Marks was arrested by investigators this afternoon for armed robbery of a man who services ATM machines in Okaloosa County.  The robbery took place outside the Vanguard Bank at 302 Mary Esther Boulevard.  The victim stated that after picking up cash from the bank, he was robbed in the parking lot by a man carrying a shotgun.  A second individual was driving a getaway car.

The arrest of Marks stemmed from multiple witness statements and search warrants conducted at Marks home, 15 Magnolia Avenue, Shalimar.  Marks was arrested previously on Tuesday, January 8th for a large amount of marijuana and anabolic steroids.  Marks girlfriend, 23 year old Dana Marie Jewett was also arrested this afternoon for resisting arrest without violence.

The second suspect, 29 year old (7/23/78) Joshua Nathaniel Landrie is currently being sought for the armed robbery.  Landrie is considered to be armed and dangerous.  Anyone with information on Landries's whereabouts is asked to contact the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 850.651.7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850.863.TIPS.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
