NARCOTICS UNIT SHUTS DOWN SUSPECTED DRUG HOUSE

45-year old Thomas “Tommy” Cottrell of 510 Union Street, Lot 7 in
The search warrant was obtained after neighborhood complaints of drug activity
and prostitution around that location.
Three others were arrested for possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. A
fifth person was picked up on several outstanding arrest warrants. A sixth
arrest was made when a suspect approached and tried to buy crack cocaine from
the location while officers were still on the scene.
Sheriff Charlie Morris has tasked members of the narcotics unit to investigate
and aggressively root out neighborhood “crack/smoke houses” and make our
neighborhoods and communities safer.
