WARRANTS ISSUED IN CRIMINAL MISCHIEF CASES

     Four individuals currently in the Walton County Jail in connection with a vandalism spree that included damaging a church there will also face a combination of felony and misdemeanor criminal mischief charges in Okaloosa County .

     Sheriff’s Office Investigator Stefan Vaughn says the four suspects are responsible for spray painting numerous vehicles, homes and at least one business last October and December.  The damage is estimated at approximately $20,000. An Okaloosa County judge has signed a total of 48 warrants, outlining 56 counts of criminal mischief in the Bluewater Bay , Niceville, and Destin areas.

               *19-year old Kyle Smith of Defuniak Springs faces 25 counts.

               *20- year-old Joshua Glenn of Gaylesville , Alabama faces 27 counts.  

               *18-year old Justin Naeyaert of Freeport faces one count.  

               *19-year old Jeremie Doyal of Defunak Springs faces three counts.

      Investigators say the suspects made statements outlining their involvement in both the Walton and the Okaloosa County cases.
