STALKING SUSPECT SOUGHT

     Investigators with the Okaloosa Sheriff ’s Office are looking for a Pensacola man on a charge of aggravated stalking. 

    A warrant has been issued for 55–year-old Jimmy Lamar Birge. He is accused of approaching a worker at a Santa Rosa Mall retail shop last November and making sexual propositions. The woman says he returned to her workplace again January 21^st and gestured to her that he was watching her.

    Aggravated stalking is a third degree felony and is defined by Florida statutes as the following: Any person who willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows, harasses, or cyber stalks another person, and make a credible threat with the intent to place that person in reasonable fear of death or bodily injury commits the offense of aggravated stalking.
