The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Bank Robbery this afternoon (Tuesday afternoon). A white male presented a note to a teller and fled on foot with cash from the First City Bank branch at 24 Racetrack Road, N.E., Fort Walton Beach, a few minutes after 3:30 this afternoon (Tuesday afternoon).

The robber was described as unshaven, tan complected, with grey hair and a grey mustache. He appeared to be in his 50's, and was wearing eyeglasses, a light colored ball cap, a long-sleeve blue shirt over a mustard-colored tee shirt, and white jeans.

No weapon was displayed, and nobody was injured in the robbery. The robber left on foot, carrying cash in his hands. No security camera photos are available.

The same bank was victim of a robbery on August 4. A suspect, John Edward Blanding II, age 35 (4-11-1969), of Niceville, was arrested in connection with that holdup 15 days later.
