A Fort Walton Beach woman has been arrested in connection with a meth lab discovered this summer by the Okaloosa County Multi Agency Drug Task Force. Tracy Irish Marthis, age 36 (8-13-1968), of 527 Mooney Road, surrendered herself yesterday (Wednesday) at the Courthouse Annex in Shalimar.

Marthis and her ex-husband, Randal Dean Marthis, age 44 (2-29-1960), are both named in warrants charging them with Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Randall Marthis remains at large.

An investigation beginning in July focused on lot 15 at the Denton Mobile Home Park, 675 Denton Boulevard, Fort Walton Beach, as the suspected location of an illegal methamphetamine lab. On July 27, Deputies made a traffic stop on a pickup truck driven by Randal Marthis departing from that address. Small amounts of suspected methamphetamine, along with drug paraphernalia, apparent supplies and equipment for manufacture of methamphetamine, and a .380 pistol were discovered in the truck. Randal Marthis was arrested at that time on drug, firearm, and traffic-related charges. The continuing investigation later developed probable cause for Trafficking in Methamphetamine warrants against both Randal and Tracy Marthis. In the meantime, Randal Marthis had bonded out of jail and his current whereabouts are unknown.
