TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be impacted on US Highway 98, Okaloosa Island, during the Emerald Coast Boat Show, which begins this Thursday (May 20) and runs through the weekend.
Motorists traveling between Fort Walton Beach and Destin, should anticipate delays, both eastbound and westbound, during boat show hours, Thursday through Sunday.
Many boat show visitors will be using alternate parking lots on the south side of the highway. To minimize both delays and hazards, the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office recommends taking advantage of the shuttle service that will be provided for boat show patrons needing to cross Highway 98.
