SEXUAL  PREDATOR  NOTIFICATION

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is conducting a community Sexual Predator Notification in accordance with the "Public Safety Information Act of 1997."

John P. Moore, Sr. has registered with a new home address of 621 Gap Creek Drive, Fort Walton Beach. This notification is a change of address; Moore initially registered last month with an address in downtown Fort Walton Beach.

Moore is a white male, 37 years old (1-11-1967), five feet, ten inches tall, 208 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He is a registered Sexual Predator with a conviction on June 23, 1999 in Okaloosa County on a charge of Attempted Sexual Battery on a Child under the age of 12. He was sentenced to seven years, 5 months, and is currently on probation after his release from state prison last month.

The FDLE currently lists 226 registered Sexual Offenders in Okaloosa County, of whom 13 have been designated by the courts under the more serious category of "Sexual Predator."
