 Agents of the Okaloosa County Multi-Agency Drug Task Force are investigating an apparent illegal Methamphetamine lab. Yesterday afternoon (Monday), a Waste Management Employee was emptying contents out of a trashcan located at #10 Harris Street in the Florosa area, west of Mary Esther. The driver noticed shortly after loading the contents, smoke was coming out of the back of the truck. The Florosa Fire Department and HAZMAT were both contacted and responded. Waste Management and the Fire Department contacted the Drug Task Force when several one-gallon jugs with hoses attached and suspicious chemicals were found. 

The case remains under investigation and no arrests have been made. The Drug Task Force is asking for public assistance to help identify the individuals involved and the possible distribution and operation of the Methamphetamine lab at #10 Harris Street.
