The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is investigating three drive-by shooting incidents reported early this morning (Thursday morning). Nobody was injured in any of the incidents.

Several bullets penetrated a window of an unoccupied house on Eglin Drive, Shalimar, near 12th Avenue and Country Club Drive. Also in that immediate vicinity, two mailboxes were run over by a vehicle. Those events were reported at approximately 8:00 o'clock Thursday morning; residents of the area reported having heard several loud bangs some five hours earlier, at 3:00 AM.

A few minutes after 3:00 AM Thursday, a resident of Roundabend Drive, Shalimar, was inside his 1989 Oldsmobile but was not injured when shots rang out from a passing car. The Oldsmobile was struck in the rear window.

At approximately 5:00 AM, gunshots from a passing car struck a house on North Overbrook Drive, Fort Walton Beach; nobody was injured.

Witnesses who saw the suspect vehicle described it as dark colored small sedan, possibly with an air spoiler on the rear trunk lid. The case remains under investigation by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office.
