An investigation by the Okaloosa County Drug Task Force has resulted in the
Cocaine Trafficking arrest of a Jamaican citizen and his girlfriend, believed to have been
supplying crack cocaine to northwest Florida for more than one year.
Shawn Decosta Moxan, age 29 (7-24-71), and Valarie Vashon Green, age 24 (7-16-76), both of Jacksonville, were taken into custody after a traffic stop on Pearl Street in Crestview yesterday afternoon (Sunday afternoon). Both are charged with Trafficking in Cocaine and with Conspiracy to Traffic in Cocaine. At the time of their arrest, Moxan and Green were in possession of approximately two ounces of crack cocaine, or about twice the legal threshold to support Trafficking charges.
Drug Task Force investigators believe Moxan had been delivering crack cocaine
from central Florida to Okaloosa County and vicinity for more than one year. Recently-developed information from an ongoing investigation resulted in Moxan and Green being
intercepted yesterday in Crestview.
