A second arrest has been made in connection with the August, 2001 murder of Rhonda Kimmons Chaney. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office arrested Terry Glenn Long, age 47 (3-6-55), last night (Tuesday night) on a charge of Accessory After the Fact to Homicide.
When questioned last night (Tuesday night) Long admitted helping Raymond Dunn move a woman's body from the bathroom of a motel room in downtown Fort Walton Beach and into the trunk of a car last August. Long was residing in a room at the motel when Dunn asked him to come to a nearby unit to assist him.
The victim's body was discovered in the woods off F-I-M Boulevard in the Wright area, north of Fort Walton Beach on August 25. Dunn was arrested and charged with murder five days later.
Long's involvement as a Accessory was learned later last year as the result of continued investigation into the case. His whereabouts where unknown until he was discovered on Bass Avenue in Fort Walton Beach last night (Tuesday night) by Investigator Robert Grappone.
