Approximately $36,000 worth of stolen jewelry has been recovered with the arrest of three teenagers in an Okaloosa Island Burglary case. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested Harry Bert Hawkins (pictured left), age 19 (11-21-82), of 31 NW Silva Drive, Fort Walton Beach; James Curtis "Skater" Colegrove (pictured right), age 16 (9-7-85), of 354 Billfish Avenue, Unit 101, Okaloosa Island; and Kenneth Thomas McNamara (pictured lower left), Jr., age 17 (9-18-84), of 330 Bluefish Drive, Unit 235, Okaloosa Island, on charges of Burglary and Grand Theft.

Hawkins and Colegrove are accused of breaking into a pickup truck at the Breakers Condominiums, 381 Santa Rosa Boulevard, Okaloosa Island, on the night of May 3, and stealing cash, a camera, keys, and other items. All three teens are accused of returning to the condominium complex the next day and using the stolen keys to enter a seventh-floor unit, where more than $38,000 worth of jewelry was taken.

A camera bag containing the victim's wallet found at a nearby county beach park by a citizen, and information from a citizen reported through Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers were instrumental in solving the case.

Hawkins was arrested yesterday afternoon (Thursday); Colegrove and McNamara were arrested on Wednesday (June 5).
