Five individuals from Fort Walton Beach have been arrested in connection with the early morning robbery of two men on Dorado Drive on Okaloosa Island yesterday (Thursday).

Charged with Robbery with a Weapon are: Barry Walker, age 25 (02-26-76), of 711 Oaklawn Street; Sylvester L. Braziel, age 18 (11-21-82), of 700 Tyner Street #2; Eric Jerome Fuller, age 16 (11-05-84), of 408 Corvette Street; and a 13 year old boy from Fort Walton Beach. The fifth suspect, Steve Barger, age 20 (02-04-81), of 339 Elliott Road, was also charged with Battery for striking one of the victims with a bottle during the incident.

The victims reported that at approximately 2:30 AM two black males exited a maroon Lincoln Town car and approached each side of their vehicle and robbed them at gunpoint. It was later determined that cellular telephones were the objects held to the victims' necks. Three other black males exited the Lincoln and assisted in stealing money, jewelry and speakers from the victim's vehicle. All five suspects then fled in the Lincoln Town car.

Braziel, Fuller and the 13 year old boy were arrested yesterday afternoon when Okaloosa County deputies conducted a traffic stop on Braziel's Lincoln Town car. Walker and Barger were arrested at Walker's residence. Fuller and the 13 year old boy were turned over to the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice. Walker, Barger and Braziel are being held in the Okaloosa County jail.
