An Okaloosa County man has been arrested on ten counts related to child pornography. The investigation began earlier this week when a Mary Esther resident reported accidentally discovering sexually explicit photographs on computer discs used by another resident of the house.

Jack William Hunter, Jr., age 40 (7-8-1963), was arrested yesterday afternoon (Thursday afternoon) at a Fort Walton Beach bowling alley where he was employed. He remains held at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview without bond, after First Appearance today (Friday). Hunter faces charges of Possessing Material Depicting Sexual Conduct by a Child. Hunter's computer and almost 50 CD's are being examined as potential evidence.

An investigation by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has identified at least ten sexually explicit items, including still photographs and video clips, on one disc. The images include adult males and females engaged in sex acts with boys and girls who appear to be as young as four years old. The identity of the children depicted has not been determined.

In an interview with a Sheriff's Investigator, Hunter denied any knowledge of the images. The case remains under investigation.
