The suspect from a shooting incident in Baker earlier this month is now in Jail. James Mark George, age 31 (11-3-70) surrendered himself at the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office in Crestview this morning (Wednesday morning).

George is named in a Warrant on a charge of Attempted Murder as the result of an incident at 1317 Georgia Avenue, Baker, on the morning of February 7.

Witnesses told Sheriff's Investigators George showed up at that address looking for Landon Lamar Blair, age 26 (12-26-75). Finding Blair, George is alleged to have fired one shot from a rifle at Blair, as the intended target fled into a back room of the house. Nobody was injured; George fled the scene. George's vehicle and rifle were found later that same day; his whereabouts had been unknown until today.
