The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has arrested an individual in connection with two robberies that occurred on November 09, 2000 and April 07, 2001 at the E-Z Serve Convenience Store located at 3176 Highway 98 in Mary Esther.
Christopher David Shook, age 20 (12-02-80), of Mary Esther was arrested on May 1, (Tuesday evening) at the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office. Shook is charged with two counts of Armed Robbery. Shook is believed to have been the knife-wielding robber who demanded cash from the cash register in both robberies.
Within days of the April 7th robbery, The Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers received an anonymous tip that lead the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office to Shook. The tip described "Chris" as the person who robbed the E-Z Serve Store. The tipster also gave a vehicle description, Florida tag number, and home address.
Shook is being held at the Okaloosa County Jail in Crestview without bond.
