Eleven suspected drug dealers have been arrested, and a similar number are still sought, after an operation by the Okaloosa County Multi Agency Drug Task force and the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office Community Policing Unit.
After approximately three weeks of controlled transactions and surveillance, Community Policing Deputies and Drug Task Force Investigators began arresting suspects last evening (Monday evening). The undercover buys involved crack cocaine and were accomplished in the Sylvania Heights area, within the city limits of Fort Walton Beach, and elsewhere in Okaloosa County.
Those arrested so far include:
Anthony J. Brown, age 25 (4-5-76), of Fort Walton Beach
Deseree' Colon, age 30 (6-21-71), of 5th Street, Shalimar
Patricia Marie Davis, age 42 (10-1-59), of Fort Walton Beach
Jimmy Lee Dodd, age 26 (8-18-75), of Dona Venue, Fort Walton Beach
Dean Fearson age 39 (5-9-62), of Coral Drive, Fort Walton Beach
Marcus Lee Gray, age 19 (10-12-82), of Wright Parkway, Ft. Walton Beach
Clifford Alan Jones, age 20(11-16-80),of Marler Avenue, Ft. Walton Beach
David Lord, age 31 (10-16-70), of Bernarr Avenue, Fort Walton Beach
Derrick Lamont Pugh, age 21(10-18-80),of Burnette Ave.,Ft. Walton Beach
Dennis Alexander Toomer, age 19 (4-18-82), of 5th Street, Shalimar
Warren Laveen Williams, age 41(9-16-60),of King Street, Ft. Walton Beach
All are charged with Sale and/or Possession of Cocaine, and all are scheduled for Plea Day in Circuit Court on December 4 in Crestview. Approximately one dozen more individuals identified during the operation will be arrested in coming days and weeks as they are located.
