Charges are pending in connection with a Domestic Violence incident that resulted in a mother and daughter both being taken to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. In stable condition with multiple cuts and bite injuries to her head, arms, hands, and legs is Deborah K. Loubriel, age 49 (10-17-51), of 1301 Ariel Court, Fort Walton Beach. Also hospitalized is her daughter, Tina Michelle Brown, age 28 (1-11-73), of Navarre.

According to an investigation by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office, Ms. Brown suddenly attacked her mother at approximately 2:00 o'clock this afternoon (Monday afternoon) after the two had been conversing for about three hours. Deputies believe Ms. Brown shoved her mother into a bathtub, turned on the water and tossed in a hair dryer; broke a lamp over her head, bit her, and attacked her with a broken drinking glass.

Ms. Brown ran from the scene and was found by Deputy Don Hess lying, naked, in the right-hand northbound lane of Lewis Turned Boulevard across from the Crosswinds Landing subdivision. Ms. Loubriel was able to run to a neighbor's house to summon help.

The incident remains under investigation; charges are pending.
